A good seal stops “creep”—that annoying process where oxidation slowly climbs up the wire. By locking down that junction point, the resistance stays steady for thousands of hours. No spikes, no tripped breakers, no headaches. If you’re ordering these for a big project, do yourself a favor: run a 24-hour heat soak test on the seals. If the material softens or starts to leak, send them back. Because if it happens in your lab, it’ll definitely happen in your customer’s bathroom.
