We built this wall-mounted electric heater for places where time really is money. The heart of it is a shortwave infrared halogen lamp, designed to crank out heat fast. Instead of wasting energy warming up the air like most heaters do, it sends warmth straight to the people and objects in the room. It runs on a 400V supply, which lets us pack serious power into a small package. This means you get a ton of heat without needing a maze of heavy cables or oversized breakers on your factory floor. Material and Design for Industrial Reliability
The heating element is wrapped in a high-purity quartz tube, protecting a halogen filament inside. The quartz handles extreme temperature swings without cracking, so the unit can be switched on and off over and over again without breaking a sweat. The halogen gas inside also keeps the filament in good shape, so the lamp lasts longer and the heat stays steady. We went with an R7s connector because it makes installation simple—no tools needed. It gives you a solid connection that can handle the high current without arcing or coming loose, even with constant vibration. And the wall-mount housing is tough as nails. It shields the lamp and focuses the heat exactly where you want it.
Application and Performance Trade-offs
In cold spots like changing rooms or entryways, this heater delivers warmth that feels instant. The focused infrared beam hits surfaces and people directly, so there’s no waiting around for the air to catch up. But here’s the trade-off: that intense heat needs proper space around it. The unit has to be mounted with enough clearance, and your electrical setup needs to support the 400V load.
